September 24th, a cool awakening

Picture the scene. The bathroom door is closed, no one is in the room and the window is wide open. It is midnight and the closing autumnal/winter weather is becomming more prominant. It remains this way throughout the night. I go to bed and it is a very warm night in my room, it almost feels as if illness is stopping me from breathing, i am sweating and very uncomfortable. I finally get to sleep and when i awaken i feel as if i have been sat by an open fire for hours and i am beginning to feel very uncomfortable. I go for my morning ablutions only to be greeted by the soft cool breeze of the morning as it kisses my face ever so gently, my body is engulfed with the wonders that flow through the window. All is now harmonious.

21st September 2008

So whilst at work today i jumped over the reception desk as it's a lot easier to get to the back office than walking all the way around, knocking on the door and disturbing the Duty manager making him get up, and then i find out the centre manager is a little nerd who always watches the CCTV videos and someone got a disciplinary for doing what i did not long ago. Thankfully he has a week of leave and i'm safe as the CCTV will be scrapped by then.

So a little rant. My mum turns my laptop off when i'm out, even though it is unplugged and just running off its own juice. She claims it's wasting power, she goes to bed so i go and turn my laptop on, speakers on full power and the house is filled with the start-up tune for windows, my desk shakes and my mum shouts.....good times

20th September 2008 (Continued) A little thanks

Actuall this is something i have been meaning to write today. I think, although i have had some issues recently i have a few things to be thankful for. These are listed below.

-My beautiful friend who donated money to my charity after i insisted she didn't have to.
- These wonderful people i have been speaking to on the internet who are very very nice and supportive, especially in my current circumstances. You actually all make my day much better and it's great to know there ARE more amazing people out there. so thanks, roll on Zonino!

20th September 2008

So let me begin where i left off last night. I went to bed at midnight, expecting to be up at 7 for work this morning. As i lay there in bed with the light reflected off the moon kissing my cheek slightly i tried to sleep, unfortunately i had a song in my head, it was crystal clear word for word. As much as i would try i could not press pause or stop, even change track. The song was in-fact only skin by Joanna Newson, the whole 16 minutes and 55 seconds of that song was somehow streamed inot my mind from somewhere. I do love the song though, thans pv for that on my wonderous mixtape.

When i was sat there at work today i got thinking. I though about everything from a very special someone who i just met to yesterdays episode of neighbours. However, one of the things that made me think a little more was sound. Do the sound waves just DIE out??? i mean, if someone speaks imagine the sound waves as images emerging from there mouth and moving outwards, they wouldn't stop would they?? sound is absorbed into solids, so i guess that's why you can't really hear things through walls as clearer, it took me a whole 30 minutes to get my head around why i couldn't hear everyone and everything in the world. I blame this lack of thought and extreme stupidity on my lack of breakfast this morning. However i intend to go to dominoes pizza in appromimately 50 minutes.

That random question thingymabob!

it inspired me and provoked much though in-fact. I thought of a question immediately in-fact. I realise i just wrote 'in-fact' twice, but it's my blog, my rules okay??? Love you all! xx! So my question as you may have already seen is how many feet are there in the world. Now for arguments sake lets say there are 6 billion people in the world. That doesn't mean that there will be 12 billion feet in the world, it would be truly amazing to find out the exact figure! What if it was like 11 billion!!!! how AMAZING!! you'd see people in the street and wander if their foot was ACTUALLY real! It might even prompt one to ask people to show their 'foot' and perhaps even conduct a small survey of your general area. Probably not, but i for one would love to find out the truth in this.

just a quick tinker from your friend chris

xx

Alright team!

First of all i would like to just put out a little thanks to the background and stuff that's on this page. I chose it, because the little star reminds me of the star used in the Texaco logo and i have a Texaco polo shirt for some STRANGE reason, so it made me smile.

I mainly made this Blog as many people have expressed a wish, nay urged me to create one to help filter out my inane amount of posting on the boards of www.drownedinsound.com!!

So perhaps i should mention on thing now. I like lemons. This eas actually the first thing that came to me when i thought about writing in a blog. Lemons are great aren't they?? they're so yellow and great. The reason lemons were on my mind is i got one in Asda home food shopping delivery tonight and it was round, yes fans, it was ROUND!! Not ovular or eliptical if you look at it from a 2D point of view, but it was SPHERICAL (back on 3D). This is actually quite a good invention, the round lemon. some would argue that it's easier to cut and in segments you get more lemon to eat, reducing wastage. What a great idea.

Also shoelaces, as i said previously i tripped up due to a shoelace. I grazed me knee on a tacky drain cover thing, but other than that it's all good. Shoelaces are too long. HAHA OMGOZZLE! I just reminded myself of something funny at work last week. As you know i'm a lifeguard. In our monthly competance training we have to go over CPR and stuff and we use these moist wipes to clean the dummy before the next person uses it. So anyway, these moist wipes are kept in the first aid room, and the new lifeguard wandered what jobs had to be done when off poolside and one of the other lifeguard convinced her that you had to clean the floor on the poolside with the moist wipes! she did it for about half an hour, before asking if she REALLY had to do it...this was funn at the time....probably not now, and im sure you all probably scrolled down the vast majority of that last paragraph!

so more soon, i have hand cramp (from writing the blog, nothing else)
